Harry Ungoed-Thomas graduated from the school in 1999 and began working as a conference interpreter in Geneva. In 2003 he returned to the ETI to teach and shortly afterwards obtained the school's post-graduate diploma for interpreter trainers.

Now based in London, he still teaches simultaneous and consecutive interpretation from Spanish to English. He is a member of AIIC and works mainly for inter-governmental organisations at the European and global levels. He works into English from French, German, Russian and Spanish.
