Mobile learning for interpreter training

Concentration: Cognitive aspects

Project status:

Friday, January 09, 2015

Researcher(s) involved:

Barbara Moser-Mercer, Philippe Baudrion

We completed work on making the InZone learning portal responsive to different mobile devices (smartphones, tablets). The InZone learning portal offers different courses geared to the needs of different learning communities in fragile contexts. Each course includes different modules. Each module, in turn, is made up of different activities, each with a specific learning objective and specific resources. These resources can be text, images, audio, film, etc. It is important that different file types can be seen on any screen size to improve the accessibility of learning material anywhere, anytime.

This project was co-financed by a COINF grant awarded to InZone in March 2011 by the IT Commission of the University of Geneva.

The portal can be accessed here
